BEEHIVE MEDICAL RECRUITMENT Specialist Recruitment require an experienced Band 6 Occupational Therapist to work within the Intermediate Care Division in the EAST LONDON area.
Our client is seeking candidates with previous NHS experience who are confident working independently within a community rehabilitation setting.
Vacancy Details:

- Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:30 – 16:30
- 37.5 hours per week
- Part-time applicants considered (minimum 3 days / 22.5 hours per week)
- Agile working in place
- Essential Experience & Skills:
- Previous NHS experience as a qualified Occupational Therapist.
- Experience working within Community Rehabilitation and Intermediate Care services.
- Independent assessment, treatment and discharge planning of patients within a community rehabilitation team.
- Ability to use recognised outcome measures and sound clinical reasoning to formulate and review treatment plans.
- Confident in managing and prioritising own caseload.
- Strong communication and multidisciplinary team working skills.
- HCPC registration and relevant Occupational Therapy qualification.
- Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle are essential.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, treat and support patients within the community rehabilitation pathway.
- Develop person-centred rehabilitation programmes to maximise independence.
- Complete discharge planning and coordinate ongoing care where appropriate.
- Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to achieve positive patient outcomes.
- Maintain accurate clinical records and documentation in line with professional standards.
