BEEHIVE MEDICAL RECRUITMENT Specialist Recruitment require an Advanced Healthcare Scientist (Senior Biomedical Scientist) – Band 7 to work in the Norfolk area.
Requirements:
- HCPC Registered Biomedical Scientist
- MSc in Biomedical Sciences (or equivalent) or significant experience as a Specialist Biomedical Scientist
- Advanced experience within Blood Sciences in an NHS laboratory
- Extensive knowledge of clinical analysers, quality assurance, calibration and troubleshooting
- Experience supervising laboratory staff and deputising for senior management
- Knowledge of Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS) and laboratory software
- Experience implementing SOPs, UKAS accreditation standards and quality management systems
- Ability to train and mentor Biomedical Scientists, Trainee BMS and Medical Laboratory Assistants
- Excellent communication, organisational and leadership skills
- Flexible approach with the ability to support out-of-hours service requirements when necessary
