BEEHIVE MEDICAL RECRUITMENT Specialist Recruitment require a Band 7 Nuclear Medicine Technologist to work in the East of England.
The successful candidate should have substantial experience in Nuclear Medicine, with NHS experience preferred.
Key skills and experience required:
- Ability to independently triage and prioritise a wide range of Nuclear Medicine studies
- Experience with manual handling, dispensing and administration of Nuclear Medicine studies in accordance with local rules
- Experience with V/Q scans, Bone scans and DAT scans
- Experience with Parathyroid MIBI, Bile Salt Malabsorption and Thyroid scans
- Experience with Renal DMSA studies, including adult and paediatric patients
- Experience with MIBG, Indirect MICT cyst and gastric emptying studies
- Previous experience as a Radiation Protection Supervisor (RPS)
- Substantial Nuclear Medicine experience
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
- Experience completing audits and working with RIS and PACS
- Experience in quality improvement
- Ability to work effectively as part of a small team
- Strong commitment to patient safety and high-quality clinical care
