BEEHIVE MEDICAL RECRUITMENT Specialist Recruitment require an Anatomical Pathology Technician (APT) to work in the Cambridge area.
Requirements:
- Level 3 Diploma in Anatomical Pathology Technology
- Previous mortuary experience including assisting with post-mortems
- Experience in body receipt, storage, reconstruction and release procedures
- Experience supporting hospital, Coroner’s and forensic post-mortem examinations
- Knowledge of the Human Tissue Act, Coronial system and mortuary Health & Safety procedures
- Experience using mortuary quality management systems and maintaining accurate documentation
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to provide sensitive support to bereaved families
- Ability to participate in an on-call rota and work flexibly as required
- GCSE Maths and English (or equivalent)
