BEEHIVE MEDICAL RECRUITMENT Specialist Recruitment require a Band 6 Nuclear Medicine Practitioner to work in the South West of England.
The role is based within a Nuclear Medicine Department and would suit an experienced Healthcare Scientist with relevant Nuclear Medicine experience.
Key skills and experience required:
- Relevant experience working within Nuclear Medicine
- Preparation and administration of patient radioactive doses
- Experience with patient handling and care
- Ability to perform a wide range of imaging and non-imaging Nuclear Medicine investigations
- Experience using gamma cameras and specialist Nuclear Medicine equipment
- Knowledge of SPECT/CT imaging
- Experience participating in quality assurance (QA) programmes for gamma cameras
- Understanding of radioactive waste disposal and transport procedures
- Experience within cardiac imaging would be advantageous
- Knowledge of hybrid imaging and CT services would be beneficial
- Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Strong communication and patient-centred care skills
